Biography
Jimmy is a 2D Animator with 5+ years of experience in the English & Japanese Animation Industry, he is based in Ontario, Canada. He has worked for some Feature film, Television, Short Film, and Anime productions, inheriting skills from masters of the animated media.
Jimmy has worked on 'Green Eggs & Ham', 'Tales of the TMNT', 'Invincible Fight Girl', 'Charlotte (2021) Film', directed animation on the award-winning short film 'Drawn to You'., and has freelanced internationally for 'Digimon', 'Castlevania: Nocturne', 'Helck' anime, among other productions.
He specializes in 2D Animation, FX, and Character Design. He has volunteered as a TAAFI portfolio reviewer, guest speaker at Seneca College, and online mentor in animation communities. He is a graduate of Seneca Animation college 2015-2019. ✨
✏️In 2009, he animated on Maplemation, inspired by Super Smash Bros. Z, Final Fantasy A+, and Nico Douga. From 2012-2014, he studied Graphic Design, Photography, and Journalism. And programmed his first Java board game in Highschool. In 2015, He attended Animation college at Seneca@York, taught by professors Blair Kitchen, Huy Tran, Barnabas Wornoff, Ryan Adams, mentors and peers supporting his career path. During summer institute, Aubry Mintz taught him cleanup & short film production. In 2019, Tahir Rana scouted him into Yowza Animation for a rig animated feature Charlotte, and then worked as a cleanup artist on Green Eggs & Ham under Claude Chiasson and Fabi F's supervision. In 2021, Jimmy had worked for Titmouse on Agent Elvis, and started working in Anime with Tonari Animation, Yotta, Satelight Inc. for the Helck manga adaptation, and cleanup for Castlevania Nocturne. In 2023, He had worked on large productions for Titmouse, Inc. As of 2026, Jimmy is pivoting into preproduction, game, and developing personal series as he takes his career further. 🐹
Jimmy's hobbies include Language Study, Voice Acting, Singing, Gaming, Movies marathons, and reading Manga/Manwha/Manhua.
